That's how Aaron sings the beginning part of the ABC song...
Aaron watches a lot of PBS Kids shows, mostly Super Why (which I think is one place he learned his ABC's) and one day I noticed he was recognizing letters like the letter A and O. I got out one of his ABC books and asked him what the letters were and he recognized a majority of them! He did mix up his O and Q. I'm so proud of Aaron. On the plane ride to Big Island, I distracted him by asking him to recognize the different letters.

I'll have to get it on video so I have evidence!
I also need to blog about our Big Island trip and upload pictures!

Yamamoto Family Reunion Part 1

This is one of the reasons for the family reunion on Big Island.

The Kaluna Yuen Ohana was the biggest one there! (I think...correct me if I'm wrong family.)

It was so much fun!

Summer 2009

Sorry I haven't really been posting. Now that I'm off for the summer, we haven't really been doing anything exciting. We've just been hanging out and doing this and that. We have been doing some of this though...

...not as much as I'd like but it doesn't matter if we do go a lot since I'm getting to spend time with my boys.
My friend Jamie from high school came and visited. That was fun. We did take pictures but I haven't uploaded them yet.
We cleaned the house and passed our first house inspection since we've moved here a year ago.
Aaron is getting bigger and taller and really talkative. He really likes to point out his piko. Lifts up his shirt and says "piko" over and over. ;D He also likes Elmo, Super Why, Barney, Clifford, ...(does he watch too much tv?) and whenever we turn on the tv, he BEGS to watch PBS Kids. relentlessly. so of course after he says "meese", we give in and we all watch PBS Kids together.
We're off to a family reunion next week on the Big Island. and yeah. so that'll probably be the next post.

Super Why!

We saw a Toys R Us ad in the paper and they were having a Super Why day one Saturday and since Aaron LOVES to watch Super Why on PBS Kids, we decided to take him. We got there a little early and walked around the store and looked at some really cool stuff.

The Super Why fun started and they handed out masks of the characters. Aaron got Wyatt/Super Why but didn't want to wear it. I tried to get him to color a picture of the Super Why characters but he was too busy getting distracted with other stuff and the other kids around. We even got some stickers! We went to the one section where they had the Super Why toys and they had like NO toys. We almost got him some kind of a Super Why toy but then decided not to and got a Super Ball instead. When we got home, I remembered we had a Toys R Us gift card. whoops!
The Super Why mask was too big for Aaron's head so I cut a slit and put it on his head. I didn't put it over his eyes since he'll just rip it off and I didn't want the mask to tear.

Knocked Out

I love it when Aaron gets so tired and he just knocks out in the car.
He usually does this when we're over at my in-laws and he just wants to play with his aunties and uncles and refuses to go down for a nap or just when we're so busy running errands that he doesn't get a chance to sleep.
He tries to keep himself awake but usually loses the battle and just knocks out!

He was in the middle of eating a chicken nugget and still had it in his hand (but by the time I got the camera out, it was in his lap.)

Windward Mall Border's Playground

Whenever we go to Windward Mall, we like to stop by the playground and let Aaron run around. Aaron loves to spin the wheel and run his hand across while it spins. He loves climbing and running around and going down the ship's slide.

July 1, 2006 = 3 Years

This is one of our first dates in 2005. We went to Winter Ball and had so much fun!
You can't see it but I was wearing my converse shoes!

It's been 4 years since that date and 3 years since our wedding day.
I used this picture last year but it's my favorite picture of us!
