Now featured on Yahoo.com and other sites!

If you missed it on msn.com, David and Aaron can now be seen on yahoo.com!
David's brother Danny spotted it this morning and told David's mom and he facebooked me as well. My sister also told me about it.

This is so cool and crazy and the same time!
Maybe America's Funniest Videos will notice and we can win the $10,000!! I mean it's funny enough to be featured on two different websites/search engines! What, what!!

update: Apparently you can also google "baby scared by snoring" and this video is on a bunch of different sites like; aol.com, spike.com, gigglesugar.com and etc. This is so nuts!

I think all the comments saying that the parents are mean and playing a cruel joke are hilarious! Hello! It's not like we did that every night! Some people just can't take a joke!

Olivia! Look what you started!

BYUH Seasiders Basketball

We love going to the basketball games! They are so fun! Now thanks to some of the basketball players in David's student ward, we are able to sit in the comfy chairs behind the players and the announcer!

We got to see them up close and personal!

Warming up before the game...

I can't wait for the next home game!

I had a birthday, shout hooray!

I turned 25 this year (on Feb 7th)! WHAT?! I can't believe I'm a 1/4 of a century! We were celebrating here and there doing different things. We went to Canada, got a DS, ate at the Kahuku shrimp truck by the hospital (which was REALLY good!), and went to a Seasiders basketball game and sat behind the players! (a story for another post)

On my ACTUAL birthday, my young women president came over and gave me orange flowers!

Wow! How cool is that?! I love tiger lilies! It was a nice surprise.
There was a ward party for David's home ward and so we attended and had fun at the beach!
After that, we and Shaun went to Kaneohe and watched "Paul Blart: Mall Cop". I loved it! It was pretty funny! Then we headed back to Laie for BYUH Foodfest. It was pretty good! I loved my Korean plate. It was so ono!

Don't you love his face here?

Family picture at Foodfest

I love all their faces in this picture!

Here they are "fighting"

Boys. Need I say more?

Famous again!

I know you all know about the famous snoring video that aired on America's Funniest Home Videos last year...well it's on msn.com now! It's on that reel that loops under "Awwww! Cute baby videos" and there's a still shot of Aaron and David! (Apparently, it was submited to stupidvideos.com (I have no idea by whom) because that's where the source of the video is...) You can also watch the video again if you'd like! It makes me laugh every time!

My friend Donnis and Daniel told me about it and Daniel also took a screen capture so I can brag about it on this blog. Thanks Daniel!

Cool huh!?

15 Months Check up

Aaron turned 15 months on Feb 1st and we had his checkup the very next day. Here are his stats.
weight: 22.8 lbs
height: 31.5"

Words he says: ball, Dad, Mom, dir ti (dirty), Aaron, dis (this), dere (there), bye, shhrs (shoes), wufwuf (dog), dat (that), doo doo, amen,

Signs: please, thank you, more, eat, water, drink (although eat, water and drink are the same sign)

He nods and shakes his head to let us know what he wants. He makes a face for stinky and waves his hand in front of his face. He squints when we ask him to close his eyes. He knows where most of his body parts are. Aaron likes to play peek-a-boo and gets a kick out of it! When he grabs something he knows he's not supposed to, he'll hide it or try to keep it as far away from us as he can. What a punk. ;D

He loves playing with balls, any kind of balls! Basketballs, footballs, bouncy balls, volleyballs...you get the idea. Anything round or that he can hold and throw...is a ball! He loves to throw and he puts his arms out to catch and he usually catches it! If the ball doesn't fall through his arms! Haha!!

Aaron is really good at giving hugs and kisses. He waves to everyone he sees and gets kinda mad when they don't return the greeting. He is very independent and likes to do things himself if he can. He gets his shoes and brings them to us when he wants to go outside and play.

I could go on and on but he is so hilarious and so much fun! I can't believe it!! We love this guy and he cracks us up all the time!

*I'll add pictures later! sorry!! ;D*

O' Canada and Gung Hey Fat Choy

It was Chinese New Year's weekend and we had this crazy last minute opportunity to go to Canada and have a mini impromptu family reunion. (My cousin, Isabella, was visiting from Australia with her boyfriend and my parents were also going to Canada for the weekend.)
We found really awesome tickets to Seattle ($680 for the both of us!) We had to go to Seattle because neither I or Aaron had passports so we had to drive through the border. We just had to bring my naturalization certificate and his birth certificate as proof of citizenship. My parents are awesome and came to pick us up from Canada (it's a 3 hour drive from Vancouver to Seattle).
When we got to the airport, my mom brought Aaron a nice jacket from GAP that she got on sale. The collage below are pictures of us at the Honolulu Airport and at the Seattle airport. It was so cold when we arrived!

We had no problems going through the border and we were in Canada! It was David and Aaron's first time in the land up north. We stayed at my aunt's house and slept for a couple of hours before we had to get up and get ready for church. We went to the Chinese branch and saw a lot of people that I used to know and my parents showed us off...mostly Aaron. My mom is so proud of Aaron and will point him out to everyone she meets. It's really funny. (It's not a bad thing Mom!!) David played in the snow and we saw a car with headlights that had it's own wipers!

We went to eat at a Vietnam noodle place and right across from it was a restaurant called Honolulu Cafe! We thought it was funny and had to take a picture!

We had a big dinner Sunday night to celebrate Chinese New Years Eve since not everyone would be able to do it the next day plus we (my family and us) were leaving already. David and Aaron got to meet a majority of my family.
My mom's side has a bunch of siblings so we grew up calling the auntys and uncles with their number (position in the family) in Chinese. or English. The family on my mom's side living in Canada were in order of oldest; Uncle (Stephen) and Aunty (Lucy) 4, Uncle (Herb) and Aunty (Lina) 6, Uncle (Richard) and Aunty (Joyce) 7. Plus my cousins; Bertrand, Warren, Annette, and Jeanette. My old(est) cousin Isabella and her boyfriend Andrew were visiting from Australia. OH and how could I forget my Popo!! She's another reason we went to Canada!

My Popo (Grandma) hasn't met David or Aaron and she loved them both! Everyone loved my men! Isabella was telling me that Popo was worried for David because they couldn't find a jacket to fit him and she thought the ceiling would be too low for David and that he might hurt his head!

We had a lot of fun the 3 days we were there. Monday we ate a Chinese lunch that Aunty 4 prepared and then we went down to Richmond to a Buddhist temple and it was so smokey and full of incense! Then we went out to eat at another Chinese restaurant and it was time to leave!
Uncle Richard was awesome and drove us back down to Seattle on Monday night so we could stay at a motel and a catch our flight in the morning! When we went to the border to go back to the USA , the border man just suggested that I get a passport by June. (so if you don't have a passport now, you better get one before June 2009 because you never know if you're going to go out of the country!)
And that my friends, was our crazy last minute trip to Canada to celebrate Chinese New Years!!

We're so behind!!

Sorry, we've been pretty busy and haven't had time to blog! Here's a quick overview of what we need to tell y'all about:

1. Chinese New Year's and Canada
2. Aaron's 15 month checkup
3. There's something else....

Anyway...come back later and hopefully we'll be up to date!

Toodles!

update: I just realized that #3 sounds highly suspicious but it's really not...I was just thinking that there should be something else that goes there...and I STILL can't think of it right now...and no. I'm not pregnant. Sorry guys! ;P
