Christmas!

We are at Grandma Kaluna's house on Christmas Eve. Our first family picture since the hospital!

Christmas Day! Look at Aaron's little blue stocking! hee hee. We tried to get good pictures of the two kids in front of the tree but Raya wasn't having it.

Here is Aaron opening Christmas presents. Click on the collage for a better look at his face as he tries to unwrap the present. He couldn't get it open and said it was "stuck" so David had to rip it a little for him to open. After that, he got the hang of it and was opening presents like a pro. When he was supposed to hand me my presents, he started opening it! oh well.

He got A LOT of Cars stuff. The first gift he actually opened was a Cars set and he wanted to open and play with it already. He didn't even care about the other presents. Aaron got Cars towels, clothes, backpack, and more Cars cars. I got a Moby wrap that I'm still getting used to but I like it so far...it's a LOT of fabric! David got some DVD's and games.
We spent Christmas day with family in Hauula and then went home and everyone slept. It was a really fun, family filled day!

Christmas Celebrations I

We did a lot of celebrating this Christmas season.
Here is David and Aaron with matching outfits at the Hauula 3rd Christmas Party.

Aaron wasn't scared of Santa this year. He walked straight up to him and sat on his lap. He even knew that it was "SanTah". We taught him to say "Ho Ho Ho" when someone asks him what Santa says. It's pretty cute!

This is our Christmas tree.

Here is our Hawaiian Santa at the Laie 4th ward Christmas party. (guess who it is?!) David was called an hour before the party so he borrowed a red aloha shirt from his dad. Doesn't he make an awesome looking Santa?

Aaron and Raya with Hawaiian Santa.

We were asked to be Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus at Enrichment this month.

It took a little while but we finally figured out how to get the sheets wrapped around us!
Raya as baby Jesus all "swaddled" in her pink blanket.

More pictures to come!

Top 5 Funniest Videos of 2009 on Yahoo!

My boys are on yahoo's top 5 funniest videos of 2009!

Danny told us it was on the yahoo page and it had the most views of the five! How cool is that!? Too bad we didn't/couldn't make any money off of it! We'd have made some bank! :P

little tidbit: We did send it to AFV but we didn't get/win anything. AND because we sent it in, we don't have the rights to it anymore. My sister put it up on Youtube and she got several people on TV shows asking us to put it on their show (and we could've been paid) but since AFV owns it...we can't do anything about it! boo.

Baby SisTeRrr

That's when Aaron says when we ask him what Raya's name is. He knows her name is Raya...he's actually getting better at calling her Raya instead of "baby sister".

I love this picture of my family! SO cute!! (even if Raya is crying!)

Aaron is ALWAYS asking to hold her, kiss her, and hug her. He LOVES her and gets mad when we tell him to stop or calm down. He'll hold her head and kiss her, accidentally poke her in the eye. He has so much love for her!

Blessed

We blessed Raya on Sunday December 6, 2009

David's family and relatives came out to be a part of it even though they had to wake up super early to make our 8 AM meeting!
WE LOVE YOU GUYS for doing that! They were there BEFORE we even were! and we live 2 minutes away!!walking!
The blessing was nice. I tried to write it down but I'm sure I missed some parts.I just gotta find the paper I wrote it on and type it up.
When David held Raya up after the blessing, you could hear the whole congregation gasp as they saw how much hair she had and also their chuckles since she is so tiny next to David's tall stature. (yes, I said stature)
After sacrament, we had a little gathering at Aunty Cindy's house (thank you for letting us use it!) and everyone met Raya and had a good time.

I love her blessing dress! David's parents got it for Raya at Babies'R'Us.  THANKS Mom and Dad!!

click on collage to see a close up! I really like the picture of her with her Tutu Kaluna.
I can't remember how many great grandkids she has now that Raya is born. I'll figure it out later. :P

Mater

We were at a doctor's appointment for Raya at Kapiolani and the nurse liked Aaron and gave him some Cars stickers, a Lightning McQueen and Mater sticker to be exact.
We got in the car and I asked Aaron what McQueen says, "At-Chow" was his reply. So I asked him what Mater says and he said, "Shoot".
We busted out laughing!
I never, in a million years, would've thought of that answer!
But it's so true! Mater does say "Shoot" in the movie.
Aaron is hilarious! What a smart kid! I'm not biased at all! :P
