Hair

We haven't cut his hair yet since it's so thin. When it gets wet, we like to stick it up and see how high it can get!

Stacking Rings

I was reorganizing his toys and he found this and started playing with it. He started stacking it and then he put the rings on his arms and he was so happy. He kept saying "Yay!!" and I thought it was super cute that I had to take pictures!

He practically drank the whole thing!

Teddy's Bigger Burgers

A while ago, we saw a segment on OC16 that featured the burger joint, Teddy's Bigger Burgers. It looked SOO good and the burgers looked huge! We have been wanting to try it and last Friday, on a whim, we piled into the car with Shaun and Teren and headed out to Kailua.
The burgers were not disappointing at all! I can't even begin to describe it. I think the burgers are totally worth it and I so want to go again to try some other burgers!

We got Aaron some chicken nuggets and will NEVER do that again. When they handed me the bag, there were 4 dino chicken nuggets that you could get from COSTCO! THAT was disappointing.

If you haven't yet, click on the collage and look at the burgers! David's burger was bigger than Aaron's head!
But don't take my word for it, go check it out! ;D

Easter!

Better late than never!
We had an Easter Egg Hunt for our ward the Friday before Easter Sunday and it rained like crazy!! Aaron and I still went to the activity though. When we got there, they were deciding if they should just cancel the event, come back later or just have it anyway. They decided to just have it anyway. They started out by giving everyone at least one egg and then the older kids did a little obstacle race and went off in search of the eggs. Aaron already had his egg so he was all good. He thinks that the egg is a ball and didn't want to put the egg into a bag.

We went walking looking for eggs but they were all gone. One of the youth found an egg and gave it to Aaron. We actually saw an egg and started going for it but we were walking too slow and another kid grabbed it before we did. One of the other primary kids was super nice and put one of his eggs for Aaron to find but all Aaron did was stare at the egg like, what am I supposed to do with it? The boy's mom eventually picked it up and handed it to Aaron.

After that, we went to get a cupcake for Aaron. I handed it to him and he promptly bit down on the peep and spit it right back out! Once the peep was gone, he devoured the cupcake and got frosting all over his face!! It was too cute!

O' Canada

On Friday, April 17th, a new law was passed in Canada that gives automatic citizenship to first generation children born abroad to a Canadian citizen.
That means that Aaron is a Canadian citizen now! neat huh?
(I immigrated and have citizenship to Canada.)
You can find more information about the new law here.
(I got the above picture and information from my friends, the Burnham's blog.)
I just really like that picture!

pageonce.com

David found this pretty cool website which is SO convienient!! It's called pageonce. It's a website where you can access your online accounts all in ONE place! You can add your credit cards and see when it's due and the balance, check ALL 5 email accounts, check your social networking sites...you get the idea.  This way you don't have to sign in one million and one times to each of the sites you need to visit! or have to remember the different passwords that you had assigned to each site. It's pretty cool! Check it out!! Click HERE.

Oh and my friend Daniel suggested this site called pocketmod.com which is another handy  place to get an organizer! and FREE!! Which is totally SWEET!! and you can print it on paper that you always meant to recycle!

weekdate.com

I LOVE calendars and I LOVE pretending to be really organized. I try, I really do. I have like 6 different calendars for all sorts of different things and I just want a MASTER calendar. I've tried it one way where I have a Redbook to write all my things in but it's not as effective as I want it to be.

I also have a wonderful weekly Post-it calendar that David got for me at Target (which I, btw, thinks has a much better Post-it selection than Walmart. I LOVE Post-it's!) and I use it...when I remember. It's sitting on a counter space where we (ok... I) pile STUFF on. For example: our mail, my jewelry, foodstuffs... you get the idea.
Today when I was randomly perusing blogs...I stumbled upon this pretty cool product called "Weekdate".  It's a monthly, weekly and an everyday calendar in one and it folds up so you can put it in your bag.
I just think it's super neat and would love to get one for next year!
Click here to see a video on how it works!
The best thing about it is, you just have to write things once! I love it!
Just thought I'd share!

Spring Break

We didn't really do anything exciting over my spring break. It was just nice to hang out with David and Aaron and not have to worry about waking up to an alarm and dealing with students.

We got to hang out with Mariko and Amaya and got to eat some yummy food at Laie Elementary! I forget exactly what we got to eat but I do know that we had falafels...

We played on the playground and had lots of fun until it was naptime!

Here is Aaron going down the slide! His foot got stuck going down so we tried again!

I just really like this picture of David with the kids.

Yearly Family Portraits

I love this idea from photojojo.  It's a site that gives you ideas for the photos that you take or products for your photos.

This is an idea that I want to start doing with my family!

Check it out!

Meanwhile, enjoy these pictures!

Aaron found a pair of sunglasses with the lenses popped out and tried to put it on. We, of course helped him out and proceeded to take pictures!

He was actually kinda cooperating but still wanted to get away...
He got mad and was yelling at us because I still didn't get a good picture and wanted to take more.
I think this is one of the funniest pictures!!

Cake Decorating Part 1

I started a cake decorating class with a woman in my ward and it's been pretty fun. The first night we learned how to make roses and leaves and a border. The next class we decorated a book cake. Aaron was with me and decided to poke his finger in the cake and eat the frosting!!

There are more classes still to attend but I thought I'd blog about it now since I need to update.
