I just had to share!

I know we're behind on blogging and there's a perfectly good reason for that but for now, let me tell you about these beautiful roses.

You'll never guess what these roses are made out of...

Guess...

Just guess!....

Ok, ok, I'll tell you....

ELEPHANT POO.

Yup. That's right, elephant poo.

It's being sold at here. I love the stuff at Uncommon Goods!

Aaron's favorite things

He loves picking his nose and sucking his thumb at the same time

and he enjoys biting...everything!

Fist Bump

All the cool kids are doing it. ;P
Aaron just figured out how to make a fist. We've been trying to teach him but not really keeping it up. Then he did it on his own! Man he's growing up so fast!

We were at the BYUH Basketball game and he started hitting David with his fist.

You can also see him picking his nose before the "attack".

Spaghetti

He ate spaghetti and it got ALL over him. Just thought I'd share. Enjoy the pictures!

and what's the point of a spoon if you can just shove it in your mouth, right?!

Mowgli

Aaron has a pair of shoes that we got from the Disney store for $3 and he LOVES them. He found them and walked up to David one day and asked him to put them on.
I guess he likes them because he can walk easier in them. Either way, I think this is what sparked the walking. (well not really sparked but kept it going...)
Now whenever he sees it, he picks it up and asks to put it on.

Fighting Sleep

Aaron was eating cheerios and he was so tired. We got a video of him trying so hard to stay awake! (it's kinda shaky cuz we were laughing so hard!)

Here's what he looked like when he finally gave in!

Here's another photo of him that I thought was so cute! We just came back from church and I gave him a bottle of milk and this is what I found when I was about to make him a sandwich.

Borders Playground

Aaron and David went to go play in the play area in front of Borders at Windward Mall. Aaron had a lot of fun! I think he likes it better now that he's older. He went off exploring and even climbed on the grassy knoll. When he got to the top, he got stuck and asked David to help him down. It was so fun just watching him crawl, walk, fall, climb and explore. There were a buttload of pictures so I made a collage as to not overload the post with ALL the pictures. It would have been fun to make different captions for each but now you can come up with your own! He really liked the spinning circle on the wall and put his finger on it as it spun, guess he liked how it felt!

Concert of the Stars

On New Year's Day, there was a Concert of the Stars in the CAC. It was awesome and FREE!! PLUS there was free food! I was expecting like hot dogs and hamburgers and punch but there was rice, mac salad, chili w/hot dogs or kalua pig! WHAT?! Kalua pig! I know! It was awesome! AND there was a salad bar too! I was so full! Enough about the food.
The performers that came were the Kaala Boys, Augie T and Kawao.

We had to wait awhile because some of the performers were stuck in traffic. There was music while we were waiting and got a little video of Aaron kinda dancing (He dances so much better, I promise!) and then he walked away. Oh yeah, did I mention he's walking now?!

I can't believe it! He's growing up way too fast!
When Kawao was performing, he was itching to get away from us and so I let him walk off and he went immediately to the group of kids and made some new friends.

The Kaala Boys were pretty good and there was a funny old lady who went up to dance the whole time they were singing. Augie T was hilarious!! He was so funny! Then we had the privilege of listening to Mayor Mufi Hanneman sing. He's pretty good! The last guys to sing was Kawao. It was pretty awesome and we had loads of fun!

Visor Tutorial

Aaron found a red visor New Year's Eve/Morning and it was so cute! He tried to put it on himself.

My little boy is growing up so fast!

Happy New Year!

We had a blast New Year's Eve with David's family in Hauula. We went to the dollar store and bought some fireworks the day before. We were going to buy a big pack but we decided against it. Aaron loved the fireworks! He was really impatient when it got quiet and wanted someone to blow something up quick! It was a really fun time hanging out with family and ringing in the new year! There were lots of aerials that night EVERYWHERE! They were so close and so LOUD! But it was so COOL! Can't wait to see what this year brings! Can you believe it's 2009 already?! Hope you all have a good year!!

It was really fun getting Aaron to open the presents, he was kinda confused that we actually wanted him to rip the paper. His face kept saying, "Really? Are you sure?" We had lots of fun opening presents and loving all the gifts that we got. THANKS EVERYONE!!
David is a Transformer fan so what better gift than turning our Kia into an Autobot?!
