Hear, Hear II

We went a couple weeks ago to get a mold for his ear so they could make a hearing aid for Aaron. He got it today and has done ok with it in his ear.

At first he hated it. He would cry when we'd try to put it in and take it out. The doctor said that the main thing for us to do is not freak out if he takes it out. Just put it back in and move on cuz if we make a big deal out of it, HE'LL make a big deal out of it.

So all day we put it in, he'd take it out cuz I wasn't watching his hands, put it back in and toward the end of the day, he got used to it. He still took it out but the time period it was in was getting longer. By the end of the evening, he didn't even touch his left ear. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
Ooooh!!

  3. Okay, how did I not know that Aaron needed a hearing aid? Am I that clueless? Geeees! He is such a happy kid anyways, just like his parents. He'll be just fine with all the new developements. How are you doing? Hey I was wondering if you guys were planning on taking Aaron to the Kapolei pumpkin patch? We want to take Allie but figured it would probably be more fun with other people. And I don't know if anyone is going.
