Remember this video of his funny face? and this video of David scaring Aaron with his "snores"?
Well we submitted them to America's Funniest Home Videos and the snore scare video (this link is on the AFV website) is going to be on the show!! It's airing November 2nd! Check your local listings for the time! In Hawaii it'll be on at 6pm on ABC!
Watch me on TV!
UPDATE: I just got a call from AFV and they said that NASCAR is on before the show so it might like cut off the beginning of the show BUT it may not affect us since our clip is in the middle or so. She did say it may affect the East Coast but there's a re-broadcast in December.

I attempted to look like a pair of scissors...just turn your head upside and squint! David is a very convincing rock and Aaron, as you can see, we stuck a piece of paper on his back! He would crawl and it would hit him in the face we we ended up duct taping the paper to his clothes!! He forgot about the paper after that! It was a super fun party and had ono food and of course, I ate A LOT!! Thanks for inviting us!!

Obama, McCain, Obama, McCain...
If you're just as confused as I am about the presidential candidates, check out votegopher.com. It's an unbiased site that researches what each candidate supports on different issues.
It's actually helping me figure out what Obama and McCain are supporting and their views. Check it out. I'm still figuring it out though. Obama, McCain.....

Clap, Clap, Clap your hands!
He's almost a year and Aaron finally did it. He started clapping!! Yay!! We've been trying to get him to clap for a while now but he's always been on his own schedule.
David was feeding him and out of nowhere, he starts putting his hands together and starts clapping!
Aaron is sitting with David's cousin, Jared, and we were showing him off. Clap, clap Aaron! ;D

Oct 9, 2005
David found a letter a couple of months ago that I wrote to myself back in 2005. I had no idea what it was, all I wrote on the letter was not to open it until October 9, 2008. When David found the letter, I REALLY wanted to open it to see what it was about...but I decided that I would wait. (PLUS it had this written on the outside, "In honor of our saints of God in the nineteenth century I, Carol, will be obedient not to open this envelope until 9th Oct 2008". So I HAD to wait.) I forgot about it until last week and I couldn't wait! But I still waited! Then last night/early morning when it was after 12am, I decided that it was technically Oct 9th and I opened it. What I found inside were goals that I had written that I wanted to accomplish in those 3 years. I was so so surprised! I don't even remember where or why I wrote it. Either way, I looked over the goals and you know what, I accomplished 11 out of 14 goals. It got me all emotional. I started crying. I'm such a dork.
Just wanted to share.
Here's a picture of me and David when we first started dating in 2005!! ;D

Hear, Hear II
We went a couple weeks ago to get a mold for his ear so they could make a hearing aid for Aaron. He got it today and has done ok with it in his ear.
At first he hated it. He would cry when we'd try to put it in and take it out. The doctor said that the main thing for us to do is not freak out if he takes it out. Just put it back in and move on cuz if we make a big deal out of it, HE'LL make a big deal out of it.
So all day we put it in, he'd take it out cuz I wasn't watching his hands, put it back in and toward the end of the day, he got used to it. He still took it out but the time period it was in was getting longer. By the end of the evening, he didn't even touch his left ear. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
Ooooh!!
Super Why Dance
Remember how I told you how Aaron gets excited when he watches Super Why? I finally got it on video, edited so you can actually see him (since we have bad lighting) and I have now uploaded it.
He's so funny! Have fun watching him dance! ;D

High Chair
We got a high chair.
Aaron would always wiggle his way out of his Bumbo and since there was a family that was moving and needed to get their high chair sold, we took it. It's great. He can't get out of the chair!
...unless I don't buckle him in then that's another story.
Did I tell you he's 11 months now? Yeah man, I can't believe he's almost a year already!! He's such a funny kid! I love coming home from work and seeing his face! He has the funniest expressions and he's so smart! He knows when he gets into trouble too. Look at him getting into his clothes hamper...troublemaker!
