David has been trying to get Aaron to climb out his crib but all Aaron could do was get his leg up and then get stuck and then cry to get out...until last night! (10/6/09)
David had just come home from playing basketball and I had him in his crib and he was whining/crying to get out.
David told him to climb out and he finally succeeded!
This is of course one of many successful climbs after the fact.
He'd climb out and touch his stomach and say "tummy" with a sad look on his face or "leg".
Yeah, I'd expect my stomach or leg to hurt after getting out of that crib. He has yet to climb back in though. That'll be the next thing to work on until we get him his own bed. :P
You should SHOOT David for teaching him to climb out!!! We try to keep ours stuck in their 'prison' as long as possible...because then I have somewhere to put them when they tick me off :)
ReplyDeleteYeah for Aaron!!
If you want him to be able to get in and out, just put a step stool next to the side. Then it will be easier for him to get back in... if he'll go willingly.
