The "new" bed

On Saturday we went out to Schofield Barracks to pick up the kids full size bed for $45.

We were going to borrow our friend's truck but the seller didn't get back to us as soon as we liked and we thought we wouldn't be able to get it. Seller gets back to us AFTER we already told our friend we didn't need it.
Good thing David's dad had straps we could borrow to hold it down.
We finally found out way to the house and David threw the bed on top of the car and strapped it down!

We stopped twice to adjust the bed to make it more secure and we were on out way!

We put the bed right next to ours. We love it!

The kids now have their own bed!

Although, last night, they still ended up on our bed...and Aaron fell off.


So we moved the pillow to the side of the bed and told Aaron to move to the middle. ;)

It really is nice to have more room on our Cal King bed.
We need our space and don't have to worry about little kids in our way. when we're sleeping!
