We had our 9 month checkup one week before he's 10 months old.
As we expected our little monster is not eating enough.
He weighs 18 lbs 10 oz and is about 28 inches long. He's like in the 15th percentile for weight and 40th or so for height. He's gotta eat more because he's so skinny! He's so picky with the formula. There are times when he'll willingly drink it and then there are times (which are most of the time) when he'll absolutely refuse to drink it and cry his head off.
He'd much rather be crawling and getting into everything than eat.
I'm trying to wean him and only feeding him in the morning and at night but it's hard.
Lately, he's been super fussy and waking up a lot at night. He also has a little fever which most likely means he's teething. We're thinking his molars are coming in. I've decided that I don't like teething. He's woken up like every hour in the middle of the night. NOT fun when we get up early the next day and have no time for naps.

Crooked
We went to the mall the other day and they had a free spinal checkup. So I decide to do it. First, they have me place each leg on a scale and it tells you which side you put more weight on. I put more weight on my left side. Then the guy looks at my back and rearranges the string to where my spine is compared to where it should be and guess what, I'm crooked. My spine curves toward the left, my left shoulder is higher than my right and my right hip is higher than my left. So in order to get my body the way it's supposed to be, I should probably go to the chiropractor...
Here's a random picture. Enjoy!

A Night at the Hospital
Saturday was great! We hung out at the house, went to visit David's grandma in Pearl City and then dropped off his cousin Shaun at the airport and off to the mall for dinner. We saw our friends the Po'uha's there and ate dinner with them.
But then when I went to bed, I couldn't stop shivering! David even busted out the fat comforter that we have and I was still so cold!! Eventually I drifted off to sleep but later that night I felt like I had to vomit so I started going to the bathroom but didn't make it! So it ended up on our bedroom floor!! (good thing it's tile!) The vomit was cleaned up and I thought it might be food poisoning or something so we went to the emergency room! They thought I was pregnant (which I'm not) or had a high fever. Turns out I have the stomach flu. My night in the emergency room consisted of peeing in a cup, getting my blood drawn and an IV in my hand to get fluids in. Poor David and Aaron had to wait for me to get my temperature back to normal and was up all night. They did manage to get some shut eye though while I was knocked out from the IV.
I'm still getting over it though. I just have really bad headaches ALL day but I'm ok. I didn't take pictures because one, I was sick and two, we left the camera at home.
So here's a pretend picture of Aaron feeling bad for me!

Little baby pool
He likes it now! Yay! He doesn't scream or cry like he used to!
He does like to scream at the ball though. It must've been in his way...
Little Fishy!! He's so funny!!
The water is pretty cold, but he's still enjoying himself.

AT&T
We wanted to get a family plan and we've been looking around and finally decided to go with AT&T since our plans were ending soon. We were going to purchase it online when we decided we had more questions and wanted to talk to a real person instead of the computer.
We ended up at Sam's Club and noticed their cell phone kiosk. We take a look and what does David find? The phone he wants is FREE!! (with new sign up, of course) In the commercials, the price is listed at $49.99 so imagine how excited we were that we would be getting free phones!!
David's is black and mine is red.
We actually had some dramas getting our numbers ported over to AT&T. So we went to fix it the next day but it would still take more time so we took the phones home and the girl at Sam's club would take care it. The next day, David's number got ported over immediately and because something was going on with my number it would take another day! The day came and still nothing and then my number didn't work so if you tried to call, sorry. So I called all day to talk to someone but either no one would pick up or the line was busy but by the end of the day it all worked out! YAY!! Now we're enjoying our new phones and playing with all the features!

Just for my sister
I have been really busy at work and so I don't take my work computer home just because. Plus I don't like taking the laptop bag back and forth so...blah blah blah. Therefore I don't always go on the net to post. I do have stuff to post about but as of this moment, I don't feel like plugging in the camera and uploading photos. Some people (well really my sister Olivia) want to see an updated post and ta-da...here it is.
Funny story: My dad's friend called me the other day when I was at work and I hear my dad's voice and him talking to me in Cantonese and I'm like Dude! Why are you calling me at work? and then I hear another voice and it's my dad's friend. So we talk blah blah and later I apologize for being so rude. I also call my dad to apologize but he doesn't remember calling me this week. Turns out his friend can also speak Cantonese and HE was the one pretending to be my dad....I guess you had to be there. (I'm also not a very good story teller if you couldn't tell)
ANYWAY, it's late and tomorrow I will scan some photos that you can all have a good laugh at!
Here's a picture of Aaron just so it's not just a wordy boring post....

HKISS
Aaron has high frequency hearing loss in his left ear and we've had to go for several tests to determine the severity of it. So far so good. It doesn't look like we have really anything to worry about for now.
Even so, there's a free program called Hawaii Keiki Information Service System (HKISS) which gives support to families that have children with special needs or have concerns. It's pretty cool. Aaron has people come every so often to check up on him to make sure his hearing loss isn't affecting his development.
We just had someone come Tuesday and he's looking really good. He's actually doing better than average kids his age in certain areas and not lacking in any area.
On Monday we have his 9 month checkup, where we'll see how he's doing with height and weight.
