Endless Fun

Having fun with the family!
(Aaron says "faniny", it's so cute!)

Aaron stuffing his face!

One of Raya's rare smiles. She's so cute! (I can't help if I'm biased!)

Taking pictures with Daddy...

...and making the same silly faces!

This is one of many that David took of me with Raya. She kept looking away or making a weird face.

I love my "faniny"!

3 of the 22

My sister Olivia with the kids.
She took 22 pictures and uploaded a bunch of them to Facebook.

Not interested.

Tongues!

Pit Crew Aaron

Trying on his pit crew costume from the Cocco's.

The hat was holding the earpiece in place. I have no idea how that was supposed to stay on his ear...

Classic Aaron pose, this time, he's showing off his cars.

He was cold...

...and still needed to finish his dinner...

...so he put his arms in his shirt...

...and kept eating...

He is so funny!

Aaron the Artist

We just found out that Aaron can draw! Not just lines and circles like he usually does.
This time he drew faces! Whaat?!! Awesome!

I totally took pictures!

I took a video of him explaining who was who in the picture.

Just in case you can't watch the video, below is the labeled picture. It should correspond with the video.

(I asked him a lot later so I could label it and it's totally off, except for Raya.)

Carol's New Year resolutions

I have plenty of New Year's resolutions.

I'm trying to figure it all out and narrow it down to specifics since we all know that when it comes down to making goals, it needs to be written down, time oriented and realistic.

My first resolution/goal this year is to get back into shape. I will do this by telling you all that I'm going to run in the Great Aloha Run this year. It's an 8.15 mile course.
(the most I've ever run in one day is 6 miles. Which I did ONCE. Many moons ago. Back when I was a regular runner. - remember Sheena?!)
I'm just really glad that David is supporting me with this goal. He'll come along with me on the bike with the kids riding in the bike trailer.

After the GAR, I want to continue running so I need to figure out another time specific, realistic goal that I can work for.

Suggestions?

Another goal I have is to clean out the closet and go through all my junk in my boxes and DE-CLUTTER! I also really want to organize the bookshelves and consolidate items and throw stuff out! I'm going to try and go through the closet at least once a month or more. My deadline is July 1, 2011. This way I have time during the school year and still have time during the summer to do it!

I also want to get more crafty. Like make more homemade cards, embroider, etc.

I'll also like to blog at least once a week! And upload pictures from the camera!

And eat smaller portions and eat healthier!

The picture has nothing to do with the post. I just wanted another picture, particularly, one of me. ;P

Hopefully telling the few people that read the blog will help me accomplish all these goals!

Wish me luck!

New Year's Day Part II

Aaron got a hold of a tennis racket and a tennis ball. He was having lots of fun. When he would hit the ball, he would cheer. Really loud. And do a victory dance. Everyone there loved it!

Miki played with Aaron after David. She threw him the ball and he would try to hit it with the racket.

People there were amazed at how well he was swinging the racket. They also couldn't believe that he had just turned 3 in November. Uncle Dave even said that Aaron had a natural swing and we should go practice hitting balls over the nets at BYUH.

This is totally going to sound like a brag-gy parent but Aaron is totally awesome. He's totally coordinated when it comes to playing sports! He loves to throw balls and has a pretty good aim.

Raya also had some fun playing with tennis balls and a cup.

Here's a little video of Aaron playing tennis!

YouTube Video

This is a much better video than the first one.

New Year's at Kealohi: Part I

This year we spent New Year's day at Kealohi in Kaneohe. It's really nice there.

It's David's Grandma Ronie's family property.

I love these pictures of Raya with her Tutu Ronie! So cute!

Happy New Year! 2011!!

I forgot our camera at home and then I forgot that I could take pictures with my iPod until the very end when we were pretty much done.
Thus I have pictures of David with his Magic Whip(?)

Everyone else is to the far right watching him and lighting morning glories and groundflowers.

I tried to get a picture of the floating lanterns but that didn't really work too well...

Aaron didn't take a nap today so he didn't make it to midnight. He fell asleep like at 11:45pm.
Aaron's first picture of 2011.

Raya fell asleep before midnight but when Mailani tried to put her down, she woke up. She went outside and enjoyed the fireworks and craziness!
The first picture of Raya in 2011!

Here's David and I, our first picture of 2011.

David's face. sigh. He says this is going to be his new thing in 2011.
His "smile" in pictures is going to look like this all year.

Happy New Year everybody!! Looking forward to the new year and what surprises it will bring!
