Her sensitive skin makes it look worse

Aaron just BIT her cheek one night really HARD! She cried for a little bit, I think mostly from the shock of it all. 

Raya has sensitive skin from me. Hence the swelling of her skin from Aaron.

This isn't the first time he's bit her either. What is up with that?

 I told David abt the 4 missing WV miners that were found dead, he was confused why kids were in a mine. LOL. He thought I said "minors" haha!

Timesaver

Sometimes when Aaron wants to talk to either one of us, he'll save time and say "Mahdee" or "Dah-mee"...or maybe it's just "Mahdee"...and then he'll pick one of us to talk to or more like ask us to do something.

We like to take walks to TVA to play on the playground and swings. Whee!!

Easter-ish

We didn't really do much for Easter. We did dye some eggs.

It was also my first time dying eggs by myself for the first time. I had put the blue dye in the plastic-y bowl but as you can see...it dyed the bowl blue. AND it was my first time trying to boil eggs, yes, my first time. Anyway, I broke a couple of eggs trying to boil it...hence, the limited amount of actual dyed eggs. :P

So I transfered the blue dye to a glass cup. (colors from left to right: orange, green, and blue)

These are our eggs. We draw on them with crayons and put then put them in the dye. I wanted to try and put stickers or something on the eggs but that didn't really work out too well. I had some scotch tape on one of the eggs but that didn't really work too well either...

Aaron drew on his egg and put it in the bowl.

As you can see, he's very proud of his egg.

Here he is trying to play that classic guessing game, "Guess which hand the egg is in?"

We didn't do much Easter this year. Better remind the Easter Bunny to come visit!

Oreos

I had gotten a pack of oreos from work and had left them on the counter to enjoy the next day. The following morning, he got up with me while I got ready for work so I plopped him on the couch with a couple of oreos and animal crackers to watch PBS Kids and went on my way. Unfortunately I forgot that Aaron knows how to use the stool to get things that are too high for him.

The following is a text I got from David while I was at work:

Aaron ate the rest of the oreos. I woke up and found half cookies in a bowl with animal crackers and the parmesan chese packets all crumpled into balls haha

Evidence he ate the oreos!

Pink Converse

Raya trying on pink Converse shoes that are still a little too big for her that our friend Kamaile had given us.

Mullet

Mailani cut ten inches off my hair on Sunday. I looked at Aaron and decided that Aaron's hair around his ears were getting too long. So I asked Mailani to cut the hair around his ears. Bad idea. Now he looks like he has a little mullet!!
