Another video of Aaron talking

It took a while but it's finally here, a video of Aaron talking where you can actually see his face. We filmed a while ago but I am just now posting it. Well enjoy! He's a lot bigger now and now he sounds like he's even saying his own name.

Hear, Hear

When Aaron was first born, they do a newborn hearing test and as it so happened, his left ear failed. So we had to have more hearing tests done and it turns out that he has some hearing loss in his left ear. It's high frequency hearing loss. It's heredity. At first I was kinda sad for him but now, I'm ok. He'll be good. We have to go again in February for another test. It's all good though.

I got a call from the Department of Health which is helping us with Aaron. They referred us to this other early intervention program which help with the costs of all the tests and stuff and maybe even stuff my insurance won't pay for...I think. I have to call the lady from the early intervention program back. By the time I remembered it was too late so gotta remember to call on Monday.

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great New Year's! We spent ours with family. My brother Luke came in the night before and spent literally all of his New Year's Eve meeting most of David's family. I think we might need to make flashcards for him to remember everybody!!

New Year's Eve was uneventful for me but very eventful for David. I was inside my in-laws house feeding Aaron and watching TV. David was with his family and neighborhood enjoying the morning glories and poppers and other stuff. I did step outside for a moment for some really good hot chocolate and Samoan pancakes. Yum!

Our new year has been filled with playing with Aaron and spending time with family. It's so fun that I'm really not looking forward to going back to work. I just need to treasure my time with David and Aaron!!
