Tattoos

Aaron found a black marker at his grandparents house. We need to keep an eye on him or this happens.

He drew all over his face and arm.
I tried to get a picture of him but he kept posing and moving. These were the "best" pictures I could get from my phone.

(Posing like a Maori showing off his tattoos)
I did wipe off most of the marker but his right eye looks as if there is a bruise from a black eye!

Eye

We were at church and Aaron ran away from me and he was around the corner. I looked at his face and noticed he had a spot that was bleeding under his eye. I thought he ran into the wall or something and didn't think anything if it.

David and I asked him what happened to his eye and it turns out I was totally wrong.
D: "What happened to your eye?"
A: "(friend from nursery) scratched it."
C: "Why did he scratch you?"
A: "I "rawd" him
C: "You rode him?"
A: "No! I ROARed him."

And that my friends, is how he got that scratch under his eye. I guess his friend didn't appreciate him roaring at him. ;D

Bike

I'm biking to work now. (except for when it rains cuz I ain't biking in the rain with glasses. Plus it's RAINING!! and I need bike fenders!!)

This is the bike we got from Craigslist. It has a basket but it was in the house. It's a small bike. I'm 5' 2", so you can imagine the size.
I started biking to work during summer school. It takes me about 15-17 minutes. I'm just
really glad we live on the edge of Laie so I don't have TOO far to bike.
I just can't wait for the bike path they are talking about making. Let's hope it happens soon!

Old Navy

This is the skirt that I wanted to get. And you can see Aaron playing with the glasses that he grabbed from the store. He kept looking at himself in all the mirrors, dancing and what not. He got super mad when I told him he couldn't have it!

Costco Carts

I think it's so cute when they sit together in the carts at the store. I love it!

This is so not a cute picture of Raya but it's the only one I got of her looking at me and not blurry!!

Double Stroller II

We were at the mall and we only had our umbrella stroller with us. Aaron didn't want to walk anymore so he sat in it. I had to do something and David took the kids. Since it's kinda hard to push a stroller and hold a baby, he came up with this brilliant idea!

He had Aaron holding onto Raya in the stroller!

It only worked when she didn't move around too much. Once again, my genius husband has found another way to convert our single strollers into double strollers!

Don't take her picture!

Aaron likes to block Raya when I just want to take a picture of her. He wants me to just take a picture of him. Silly boy.

Eclipse!

Thanks to Twitter we got some Eclipse tickets for opening night at Ward Theaters.

David got a tweet from Power 104.3, a hip hop station here in the islands, about Eclipse tickets. All he had to do was go to 7-11 in Hauula, buy TWO LARGE Slurpees and you'd get one ticket to Eclipse. So of course we bought 4 Slurpees to get the 2 tickets. His mom and some of his sisters did the same thing.
Opening night David, his sisters, Pii and Mailani, and I left for Ward around 10pm. When we got there the line went all the way to the Nordstrom/Office Depot parking lot!! (which also happened to be where we just parked!)
Luckily
, while the 3 discovered how long the line was, I looked for someone to ask where people with tickets from Power 104.3 were supposed to line up. I was told that we could just walk in! WHAT?! So I called them to let them know we could go right on in and didn't have to wait in the HUGE-MUNGOUS line!!
There was a theatre reserved for the radio station. We got goody 7-11/Slurpee bags as we went to find our seats. Inside was a calculator, a USB hub, a $10 gift card to the theatre which we promptly used to get snacks or the movie.
While we were all waiting for the premiere to start, some of the station's DJ's entertained us with contests. The first one was with Taka an the first person to run up to finish the lyrics of the sing win. The first song was "Baby" by Justin Bieber. (this happened to be one of Raya's songs) People were shouting the right words but no one was running so I ran up there with Raya and won a beach ball! Whoo hoo!! What I really wanted was the two combined camping chairs with umbrella! Which I didn't get...
It was lots of fun and the movie was excellent and I think the closest one to the book out of the other 2 movies. I really liked the battle scenes too.
Thank you Power 104.3 for an awesome night!
