They took a bunch of photos the other night but these are my
favorites! Aaron makes the best faces! (He totally gets that from
David!)

David's 27th birthday celebration

Unfortunately I had pink eye but we still had a fun filled day!

I made him a breakfast of eggs, rice and Portuguese sausage.
Then we lounged around a little and relaxed with the kids. We went to town and ran some errands and then off we went to eat at The Cattle Company in Pearl City. He had a birthday coupon for a free steak dinner (which could also be used for lunch).

The food was so good and our meals came with a drink and cookies for dessert!
David also got a dessert for free! It was a huge giant cookie with ice cream and a candle!

It was a super fun day!

Before his birthday, we also had a coupon for Ruby Tuesday and enjoyed some yummy food there too! Join theirs too!

Elder Aaron Yuen

This is a picture that David drew when he was bored one day in the notebook that Aaron loves to draw in. 

A couple days after he took that picture...Aaron drew all over the face. 

They're going to outgrow me so fast!

as of 8/21/10: Aaron is 3' 1" and Raya is 2' 1"...I'm 5'2"...man, they're going to catch up pretty fast. Soon I'll have to look UP to them!

Bike Path from Laie to Kahuku

went to the bike path groundbreaking at Gunstock Ranch (article here) and my allergies went crazy! I couldn't stop sneezing!

This is an artist's rendering from Envision Laie as to what the bike path would look like.


But I can't wait for the bike path to be finished! Maybe then I can stop wearing the dorky helmet...I wear it because I ride my bike on the highway and it can get kinda scary with the cars so close by.

I only wish we lived closer or they opened longer or they had a bigger place to eat at.

We were at Borders and Aaron found this microphone that echoes. He kept talking in the microphone and going "Ladies and Gentlemen! blah blah blah Super Readers!" and all this other random stuff and the whole store..well those near the Kids section could hear. 

We almost got it for him. but we got him this reusable sticker book. He likes it.
