David turned 28 this year. I woke up earlier than usual and made him breakfast. Unfortunately, we ran out of rice and the little I made him was junk so I also put toast on the plate. The breakfast isn't anything exciting but it's special only because our usual breakfast fare is cereal and milk :)
His mom helped make the crust for his birthday pie. I made the filling at my in-laws and later that evening, his family came over and sang "Happy Birthday" and ate the pie.
The Saturday after his birthday, we went to Cattle Company. We joined their club and every year for your birthday, you get a free steak dinner (with purchase of another entree)

Below are the ribs, onion rings and baked potato that David got. I had the steak and lobster with garlic mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries.

David got a huge cookie with ice cream and a candle. Some of the Cattle Company staff sang him a special birthday song.
David was about to blow out the candle but I think Aaron or Raya beat him to it! :)

Another day we went to Ruby Tuesday for David's free burger. Later we ate at Coldstone Creamery for some birthday ice cream with a coupon we had for David.
Joining clubs for different food establishments, especially when they give you stuff for their birthday is awesome! :)
