Pearlridge Mall

There is an Ice Age display at Pearlridge Mall. Raya was checking out the saber-toothed tigers and I love the way she has her hands on her knees!

There were artists painting in the mall.


Aaron was super scared of the display behind us. It was of the tiger attacking the animal. I don't blame him though, it is kind of graphic.



I don't know what they were looking at. David thinks it might be the guy who almost walked into the picture.

We went to go see Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon in 3D.

In the theater with the 3D glasses on!


Raya would not sit still!


So we took pictures. We took a bunch of pictures but I like this one since we have super Asian eyes here!


David and Aaron did the same! They are so cute!


David took one of all of us! Nice!


Raya ended up doing this for the whole movie!


Aaron fell asleep for like 10 minutes but otherwise watched the whole thing. He really liked it. At the end of the movie, he turns to me and says, "that was a great movie!"

We had a fun day celebrating our 5th anniversary watching Transformers 3 with the kids and going to a wedding reception later that evening. :)

Pool time! 7/1/2011

Aaron would NOT go in the pool. He stuck one foot in which is amazing. He put both hands in and he was so proud of himself. He was really worried about Raya in the pool. but she was totally fine

I sneak attacked Aaron into the pool and he FUH-REAKED out!

I asked after why he was crying and he said he was scared of the sharks. Silly kid.
Could my kids be any more different in the water?

After awhile, Aaron finally warmed up to the idea and realized I wasn't going to take him out and he was fine! Granted he stayed by the edge of the pool but at least he was IN.



He even dunked his head in the water! I'm so proud of him!


It is really hard to get everyone looking and smiling at the camera at the same time.


More people in the pool. Not the best picture but not the worst!

Laie Hawaii Temple

We were at the temple yesterday evening. Isn't the sky pretty?

The kids were running around, climbing the stairs and trying to catch bugs.


I asked for smiles for the camera and this is what they gave me.

Laie Elementary Playground

Raya saw Aaron swinging on the bar so she wanted to try too.

She couldn't reach so Aaron helped her.



Raya couldn't swing like Aaron so she hung out on the bar!

She likes to climb up the slide. I guess it took too long to go around.

It was such a hot day yesterday but they insisted on going outside. We had fun at the playground anyway. Luckily David came by that way and picked us up so we didn't have to walk home in the hot sun!

FIVE Years!

We met 6 years ago.
We danced.

We danced some more at a ball at BYUH.





We got married a year later in the Laie Hawaii Temple.

Cousins

This was Lucas and Raya's first time meeting each other.

Raya is older by five months. She looks dark!


Aaron and Cora. They're the same age but Cora is the older one by 6 months.

Summer Bash 2011 and Cars 2

Raya fell asleep while I was going around putting new trash bags around at the different stations at the Quad-stake Youth Summer Bash at BYUH.

(I was late and didn't have a chance to get the double stroller like I was planning on and so I only had the single stroller since j drove. Aaron didn't want to walk and so I let him sit and hold Raya. He complained that she was too heavy but that's what he has to put up with in order to sit in the stroller! Long backstory but now you know!)

Aaron kept asking after the previews if it was Cars 2. He was pretty excited. Raya would not stay still for the movie.
Afterwards we went to the playground and Raya went and sat right next to me. Eventually she moved to the turtle and watched the kids play.


She got braver and started playing on the bigger play area.


It was a super fun night!

Summer school

Aaron and Ariana doing homework together from summer school.

Raya and I visited Aaron at school on Friday and look what Aaron was doing instead of swimming in the pool!

Freaking out

I took off his band-aid to check on his owie from school and he FREAKED out and started crying. He doesn't need a band-aid. He's just overreacting. I promise I'm not a horrible mother.
